blueberry linen tea towel
blueberry linen tea towel
Gingham, hand-printed blueberries, linen blend, ribbon tab for hanging and mitered corners sewn by me, are the ingredients of the perfect tea towel. This sweet kitchen essential has been well tested in our home and we love everything about it. The only time it isn’t hanging in our kitchen for use, is when it’s in the washing machine.
Each corner has a two-toned blueberry print from a lino-cut I carved, inspired by high bush blueberries. The fabric is a linen-cotton blend of light blueish-grey and white gingham. On the back side is a piece of navy blue twill tape, perfect for hanging your tea towel to dry between uses. The towel is sewn by me, mitered corners and all. They measure about 16” x 22”. Limited batch of five for this design, though I feel like this is the start of a fun adventure in fabric printing and sewing home goods for you!
Care: wash warm, dry medium, iron on linen setting if needed.
