with dried up flowers from the year before, but new leaves budding, we see hope in the next season. tulip trees are my absolute favorites!
this photo is unedited, all the grain, color and hue you see here is from KONO! Delight ART film. taken with a 35mm camera, on an overcast, cold spring day, i let the film do the work after I focused my lens and clicked the shutter.
these photographs measure 8” x 12” and are archival ultrachrome prints on Hahnemühle metallic rag pearl paper. the first and second slides show the high luster of the paper, the last is a scan from the negative, which will be more true to the hue and saturation of the photograph you’ll receive.
more about the paper: Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Pearl is a pure cotton paper with an inkjet coating. The natural white artists’ paper contains no optical brighteners and is characterised by its warm shade of white. The delicately defined, even surface texture gives the paper a lovely soft feel and the print a stunning sense of depth. In combination with the pearl-gloss premium inkjet coating, it produces outstanding FineArt prints with exceptional reproduction of colour and detail, deep blacks and beautiful contrasts. The acid- and lignin-free Photo Rag® Pearl meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance.
